The primary school in Wildon was extended by a new building with three storeys. The extension was added directly to the existing school building. It was designed without basement, whereby two storeys were built in wood construction. In addition to new classrooms and group rooms, the annex also accommodated a workroom and a cafeteria.
In addition, various adaptations of the existing building were carried out: lowering the upper edge of pile head girder, structural upgrade of a retaining wall due to a reduction of the top ground surface, etc.
As school operations had to continue, the project was characterised by a short planning period and a construction period of only a few months (March to September).
