The ZMF North bridge is located in the north-western area of Module 2 West and connects Module 2 West with the stair tower of the existing parking garage at campus level. The bridge has a length of approx. 50.2 m with a maximum span of approx. 15.5 m. The width of the bridge is around 3.5 m in the normal range and is increased to around 6.75 m in the area of the stair tower. The structure was designed as a steel structure. The main girders run in the longitudinal direction of the bridge and are formed from I-profiles. Steel girders, which serve as supports for the grating, are suspended between the longitudinal profiles at a distance of approx. 1.0 m. The ends of the bridge are supported on the ceiling above floor 1 at module 2 west and on the existing stair tower. In between, the load is transferred via new steel columns and existing reinforced concrete columns.
