The new Centre is a hub for science and industry.<\/p>\n<p>The four new buildings in this project are multi-storey buildings with basements. The layout required a load-bearing system that allows flexibility in the room layout of the different floors. For this reason, a support system with some reinforced concrete slabs was chosen for horizontal load transfer. The floor slabs are designed as flat plates, which results in soffits withou beams.
