The grammar school Kirchengasse in Graz was built in the 1990s and consists of two buildings. The solid reinforced concrete building hat to be extended and made accessible.

For this purpose, on the west wing two storeys were added. They are accessed via a connecting passage on the 2nd and 3rd floors with the existing building to the east. The addtion is characterised on the south by an approx. 5.50 metre long overhang. A new external escape staircase was built on the west side. Further construction were limited to the restructuring of individual rooms in the existing building and two additional buildings on the ground floor.
