Kunstmeile Krems’ new center, the State Gallery of Lower Austria, consists of a doubly rotated building that welcomes visitors on the ground floor with wide and bathed in light arches. The mullion-and-transom-façades below these arches are differently inclined due to the geometry of the building. The roof terrace on the top floor provides a view of Göttweig Abbey and is closed off by a glass railing.
