The Stiftingtal parking garage will be built over with four 8-storey towers in the north and with further 1 to 3-storey buildings in the south. The towers are each 30 to 33 m long, 6.8 or 13.8 m wide and approx. 30 m high. The entire covered area measures 116 m x 70 m. So that the supporting structure of this superstructure does not have to be matched to the grid of the parking garage, a 1.5 m high girder grid is inserted between the superstructure and the existing structure, through which both the vertical and horizontal loads are carried. The load transfer of the new components takes place partly via the existing parking garage as well as via newly erected columns and walls. To divert the loads into the subsoil, DSV pillars were built underneath the existing floor slab.
In addition to rooms for teaching and research, module 2 also houses the entire administration. This means that all pre-clinical areas and also the administration are in one location.
